vocal channel. I don't know if it would do the same with a microphone input sinceI don't have one at the moment. Any Idea of what this could be or how much to have it fixed?

This probably an impedance problem. Do you have the manual. If not see if you can get it on line. You can then research the impedance of the input and see if you have a problem. Fender website in support area. Hope that helps. Let me know..
Thank You for you willingness to help. All I have found by looking in the manual is that this is a "1/4 inch TRS High Impedence Input" for the second/vocal channel. It has this noise when the 1/4 inch instrument plug is inserted, whether my acoustic/electric guitar is connected to the other end of the cable or not. It has done this with an electric guitar and a different cable as well. Thanks again!!Thank You for you willingness to help. Your input may need replaced. The part is less than 10 dollars. Try pulling your plug half way out of the amp and see what you get. The TRS is actually a stereo input with a left and right hot and a ground. Hope that helps. Let me know..Your input may need replaced. The part is less than 10 dollars.
