VR3 640g roadmaster won't "power on"
I am installing in a base-model 2007 Dodge Caliber SE. I connected all the radio wires. I connected the red / black / yellow wires to the corresponding ones on the harness.
The unit has power as the face opens and closes. However, i can't get it to power on. Does the brown wire need to be connected first? is the thing broken?

What u need to do is get a different wiring harness for it, i had the same problem the harness comes with a gray power block on it
Sounds like it is broken. If you have the power wire hooked up as you said it should be working fine. Not sure which browm wire you are referring to but it should work regardless of that.
