Hi, maybe you could help. i'm experiencing this same problem and neither pressing nor holding the asterisk button (*) on the remote switches the main monitor output to the RGB output. additionally, hooking up an s-video connection instead gives me just a blank blue screen.

any ideas?

I am tring to get get the mac address off my poly vsx8000 and i went through the intail setup process and when it rebooteed it gave me a blue screen that reads visual concert vsx but no main page or directoy after that, what could the problem be and how can i get back to directory to get the mac address?
