Vulcan climate control gas heater starts uo and does not stay alight after several attempts controls show reset mode have tried switching on and off does not work
If everything there chacks out then look for the thermocouple. I looked around and did not see one for the Vulcan heater. I would call then directly to find a dealer and a part number fo it.
Hello im josh sounds like you have done everything on your end for diagnoses now on those models they have whats called a thermocouple which is located at the pilot light its purpose is to sense a flame and send that signal to the gas valve so the heater will stay light. their fairly easy to install yourself and the part is in expensive they can be located at your local hardware store like home depot. thank you and have a good day josh.
Have you done a good cleaning>Use compressed air and blow out the burners, and the pilot light hole,Check the intake ,where the filter is,make sure it is not restricted, and the filter itself.Make sure the thermocouple is in the flame of the pilot light real good, not just touching it.If needed, turn off the breaker to the heater, and the thermostat for a couple of minutes, see if it will reset.
