Thermostat quits working. bypass it and then the heater works fine. put the thermostat back and it works a little then after several hours stops working again... bypass it and the heater does work,,,What is wrong with the thermostat? is the thermocouple not putting out enough voltage for it to work properly, perhaps it is going out too.. maybe i should replace the thermocouple and the thermostat, would hate tobuy a new thermostat and it do the same thing.. drastit, what the heck,, its still working with the wires together, so the valve should be just fine, and the thermocouple is good too, ok there is something that is attached to the dang thing here on the inside , one wire from the thermostat is atached to this relay looking device,,, that is probably the culprit,,, maybe,,, idk..
