Wandering off frequency
I own a galaxy 55v love the radio but i am having problems with it just slowly droping off to the 2400 band and then coming back up by its self i have replaced the voltage regulator checked for cold joints cant seem to find the problem even sent it out to a tech twice got a bag full of parts back that were replaced i guess, plugged it in and to no avail still wanders and when it drops down like that i can not key up the radio or receive either any suggestions would help thanks

Man i love the galaxy radio! but when talking on ssb sometimes this becomes real annoying. Galaxy radios drift. They are my fav. brand of radio but i will admit they drift. and some times its real BAD other times its not too bad. i dont know how to solve it but SOME techs some real good ones who know galaxy inside and out can minimize the drift. im sorry i can not tell you how. look up protech cb shop try getting intouch with them, tell them your problem, and they should be able to fix it.
