Hi, Sorry but I think it will be a 220V motor. They do not advertise the voltage very well and I had to do some digging to find that the motor pulls 12.5 maps which would make it a 220 v motor. At 110v a 2 Hp motor would be pulling 20 amps or more which would still make it too much for most household circuits. Running a new line for your splitter should not be a big project for most electrictians... Also if your husband has a gas generator most of them will run that splitter and then it would be portable...! Just load up the generator and the splitter and he can split anywhere...
