Washer will wash and spin fine, but it won't rinse. It basically just turns off. When I set the knob on rinse and pull out, it just buzzes. Please help! I have a week old baby and need to wash! - JJ

Unplug the washer then remove the screws securing the console to the rear of the washer. Slightly lift the console forward to clear the console locking tabs from the slots in the top of the cabinet. Once the tabs are cleared, flip the console to the rear of the washer to access the timer.
Fiddle with the timer knob and check to make sure that the timer connections are snug fit. Reseat the connections several times to clean off dirt and corrosion build up in the connectors and terminals. Replace the timer (part number 3948852 for Model Number RAS8445KQ0) if the issue is not addressed.
Remove the timer knob from the timer shaft including the timer dial to expose the screws attaching the timer assembly to the console. Remove the timer from the console and disconnect the wires one at a time and connect it to the new timer to avoid messing up the wires. Secure the timer back into position and reinstall the timer dial and knob. Align the console locking tabs with the slots in the top of the cabinet then insert the tabs into position then secure the console back into position.
Solution did not work. I bought a new timer for $85 and problem remains the same.Solution did not work. I bought a new timer for $85 and problem remains the same.
You have to check and review the wirings for possible discontinuity. Only the timer can make the washer not to work only in the rinse cycle. Otherwise, there must be a discontinuity in the wires for the rinse cycle terminals.
