I have never had this problem before and I always use timex womens' ironman watches. My strap and face enclosure separates from the actual watch face itself. The watch is only about 5 months old and started to separate within a couple of months. I thought this was for cleaning purposes but now it separates completely while I am wearing it and I have almost lost the watch several times now. I bought the watch at KMart in January 2010 and they told me I must deal with Timex on-line.
