I just had a noise in my York T301 that sounds exactly the same as yours. It also came up with a E1 error code and stopped working. I pulled the motor hood off and noticed that the magnet in the drive pully had come dislodged. It was hitting the speed sensor near the belt. Glued magnet back in and all better. Hope this helps.
