Sensor faulty but which one where i have no idea .When cold start engine with radiator cap removed and see if bubbles up indicating a head gasket problem ,if no bubbles of air then refit rad cap and warm engine up when hot then check middle of radiator for heat if cold then either a thermostat gone which on these motors is quite often ,of a blocked up rad where the vehicle has been used with no antifreeze which is also a anticorrision inhibitor .What happens with the thermostats on these vehicles in common with a lot of others is the top mounting of the stat is in a plastic support and this plastic support collapses causing the stat to jam . Sorry i cannot give you a instant quick fix .
