Water is not running through the machine
I have the machine ready to go with coffee and water and it's plugged in. When I push the button to start brewing it turns green but nothing happens.

- Make sure the filter is properly in position and that the brew basket is fully closed.
- If the coffeemaker is equipped with a removable water reservoir ensure that the reservoir is properly installed.
- Avoid overfilling the water reservoir. The coffeemaker is equipped with an overflow slot near the top of the water reservoir. If too much water is added it will flow out of this slot and collect near the base of the unit and brewing will not start.

If coffee brews cold,or coffee does not warm the water to start brewing the warming plate is not getting warm, your unit may need to be repaired. The warming plate needs to be checked.Either the plate needs replacement or the wires which connects the plate have got cut in between or short.

There two possible reasons for this problem, you will need to check this two options to fix the problem.
- The one-way valve can get clogged open or closed. You can usually fish out the debris that causes this problem with a toothpick.
- The tubes can get clogged with calcium. This is especially true of the aluminum heating tube. The normal way to solve this problem is to run vinegar through the machine once, and then run two batches of water through to clean out the vinegar.

The problem of water not heating is cause by the heating element. The resistive heating element is simply a coiled wire,
very similar to the filament of a light bulb
or the element in an electric toaster
that gets hot when you run electricity through it. In a resistive
element like this, the coil is embedded in a plaster to
make it more rugged. The heating element has two jobs:
- When you first put the water in the coffee maker, the heating
- Once the coffee is made, the heating element keeps the coffee
The heating element might be defective, since you the water is not getting hot.element heats it.
