Water line keeps snapping at inlet valve on refrigerator
I have a 89 Amana 3 door, and the vinyl tubing keeps snapping every few years where the tubing loops to the inlet valve - it has a spring inside to reduce pressure on the line, but it still snaps causing water damage to lower neighbor - I was told because this area gets hot, it weakens the tubing. Is there something better I can use that will thread to the inlet valve, such as a stainless hose or copper tubing for a few feet, then use an adapter of some sort to attach to vinyl tubing going up the back wall of the fridge?
