Water not draining, how should the switch be set?
We just picked up a 501HT dishwasher that was used in a community hall and have put it in our new hall kitchen. Need to know two things 1- How do you setthe three switches at, near the bottom and 2- how do you hook up the drain, I presume that you run a hose up and back down to form a trap. When we run it, water came out the door and didn't drain. Not sure if drain is pluged, not hooked up properly or one of the switches is not on the right setting?

Hi There,
I am not an expert, but I have the same dish washer. The washer motor may not run in reverse. I had the same problem and a couple of the timer switches and the started relay were bad.
Fixed it but two years later it has the same problem. BTW, my unit still has a timer relays, the new once don’t'
Also don't switch on the delime switch, this will hold the cycle until you switch it off again.
Regards,
Thomas
