I replaced the IC's in the tv and resitors 50, 54 and 58 as I had once about a year ago. Everything was ok but, there was a slight convergence issue on the left side of the screen. I tried to fix it ( stupid me). I was trying to adjust the the convergence manually and some how got stuck in Static mode. I fumbled around a bit trying to get out of it. I now have a green cross hatcht hat is severely distorted at both the top and bottom of the screen. Is there any way that i can rest the TV to the factory defaults? Any comments or suggestions. Please help anyone who can talk me through it, instructions etc...

Projection sets have two very common problems.
The first common problem is convergence
These sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the picture to look normal. This is called convergence.
When its out of alignment the video will look 3-D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired. Convergence problems are very common on all Projection TV sets including Sony, Samsung,JVC,Philip Magnavox,Panasonic,Akai,Pioneer, Hitachi,Mitsubishi,Zenith and others.

*Screen Looks 3-D
*Colors wont align
*Screen may look distorted or warped
*No Audio/Video - TV Shuts down - May also make a constant chirping sound
