WD external HD 250GB spins and has a tic tic noise not able to vw
Hi,
I have a WD external HD 250 GB and it powers on, I hear it spin for several times but it gets stuck and does a tic, tic and tic and then stops then it tries again by spinning and does the tic, tic and tic and then stops. The computer does not acknowledge new hardware and I cannot get the files.
I am local in FTL, FL I also have another one that is a TB same brand and this one does not spin. I need to get the files within. Does anyone have any suggestions for me.
I have a cable set but I am not very knowledgeable and I cannot risk it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
