We are having a problem with our rheem hot water system not haveing enough hot water. We called the eletricity supplier, who attended and said there relay was out of action. They said they would wire the hot water system to another circuit that would give us aconstant supply of hot water until they replaced the relay. We still dont have water. Do you think it could be the hot water system it self at fault..???
If the relay is bad no source of power is going to make it work, you could try taking off blue covers.Kill power first!. there is a red reset button underneath push and turn power back on see if that works.Plus the breaker in the power panel might of popped, you'll see when you go to shut off power. If not thermostat is bad or heating elements, probubly stat, depending on age of heater, would be better to replace, most heaters have at least a 6 yr warranty, but that doesn't cover labor.Nothing wrong with system Hope that helps
