There are a few things to check.. Most reproductions/fake Daytonas have a second hand that moves.. if your second/sweep hand is moving like a standard second hand.. you have a fake. The real Daytona's second hand remains at the 12 position as it is part of the stopwatch function and only moves when activated. A few other things you can check.. if the three mini dials refer to months or days it's a fake. If anything is engraved on the back of this watch.. it's a fake Rolex engraves a serial number between the lugs.. some fakes duplicate this..but generally not very well. Lastly if you have none of these issues.. the final way to be sure is to have the back removed and have the movement verified. Best of luck
