We had to turn off the gas to our home to repair a gas leak. However, now that we turned on the gas back on, the range does not turn on. We can hear a clicking sound when we try to turn it on. Everything else works fine-heaters, fireplace
You may still have air in the line to the range. Depending on were the range is on the gas line system. if it is the last one on the end of the gas line and the heaters are before it they have gotten all the air out of the line and are geting pure gas to them. The range is trying to bled out all of the air through a pilot orfice which will take awhile. If you can speed up the process by cracking a union at the range to bled the lines out. If the Gas Company fixed the leak most times they will help get all of the appliances relite. You might ask them if they can look at the range to see if the lines got bled out........ Hope this helps.
