Report "We have a 1996 Yamaha 40 hp outboard motor. If the kkey is engaged it starts by itself. If it dies and is out back into neutral it will start back up without turning the key. It makes a clicking noise if it isn't in neutral and it dies. It sounds like the starter is running when it dies if it doesn't restart"
