We have a 32 bottle wine cellar, model VT32TEDS-2Z We use the left side for whites and the right side for reds. The right side is showing and staying at 56 degrees. The left side was set for 52 degrees but went up to 94 degrees and will not cool when reset. We lost the wines on that side as they spoiled in a few days

In that case the refrigeration from the left side is not operational on your cooler. In this model the thermoelectric system is used - the cooling is done thru the Peltier effect, not with a compressor. Because of that when the cooling element fails it must be replaced in its entirety, it can't be repaired.
This is a big job that involver the dismantling of the entire unit. Make arrangements to relocate the reds and call Vinotemp at 1.800.777.8466 - they will guide you to the nearest authorised repair shop.
