WE HAVE A BUNN VLPF SERIES COFFEE MAKER. WHEN YOU PUSH THE BUTTON TO MAKE A POT OF COFFEE, THE WATER DOESNT STOP AT ONE POT IT MAKES 6-7 BEFORE IT STOPS. IF YOU TURN OFF THE MACHINE WHEN THE DECANTER IS HALF FULL, IT WILL MAKE ONE POT AND DOESNT CONTINUE TO RUN. DOES THIS SOUND LIKE THE FLOW CONTROL SOLENOID OR THE CONTROL BOARD HAS GONE BAD?
Sounds like your timer part #32400.0002.This is the new type timer which replaces the dial timer.Another thing is does this happen when you turn on the on/off switch? I would also check your liquid level probe in top of tank.Always a possibility bad liquid level board. If it only does this when you push the brew button the timer is bad.
