We have a Heron DataLogic D130 Bar code scanner for our POS system. We have had them for 3 years with no previous issues until a day and a half ago. I just got a new computer setup with the POS software and now when I plug in any of my scanners it automatically fills the screens with zeros and does not work. I have worked with the POS software company extensively and they have tried uninstalling and re-installing drivers verifying the port information etc to no avail. Now they tell me that my brand new computer may be the culprit. Is there something that I can do to fix this issue without having to return a brand new computer or purchase new scanners. Thanks.

Possibility is the that the engineers of your POS Software company are right, but we can definitely prove them wrong provided we test and, or check the same POS software or setup on a similar brand new computer.

Thank you very much.
