We have a liegherr 7082 214-00 model and the defrosting hole at the back of the refrigerator freezes up. We remove the ice, but a day or two later the ice is back blocking the water-drain hole. We have tried cleaning the back of the fridge, but it is not clear that this will help as the back was not that dusty. What do we do?
Try moving your settings around..Also check the seals around the fridge.. Make sure the doors closing good. IF it's not sealing good it causes it to run to long and it will freeze up...Also make sure your wife (Lol) is not pushing things all the way to the back or sides. The air has to circulate. Make sure that the fan on the compressor is running also....That will make it freeze up. But if you can fix it it will be better to get someone that knows what there doing. I waited to long and had to change the compressor...It's giving signs that something is about to happen...Don't wait until you have to buy another..
