We have a model A4887 Sentry fire safe that we had no trouble opening but now it will not close. The bars will not go in far enough to close the safe. The safe has been out of use for sometime now. Is there a quick fix you have to correct the problem

A locksmith would tell that you have to enter the combo again in order to retract the bolts so the door will shut.
