We have an 1hp jet pump pulling water from a 3000gal holding tank below the pump and pressure tank. when we prime the system and bleed out the air the irrigation works properly, the pump starts and stops fine, the pressure tank fills with water and the pressure switch properly shuts down the pump. Although when we leave the system for over 12 hrs or till the next cycle the pump blows the cirrcuit breaker on the panel upon start up. We have a foot valve and check valve in the holding tank on the suction line and removed the check valve between the pressure tank and pump so the whole system should stay primmed even if there is a small leak possibly. Why would everything run fine for one cycle and then blow the breaker after it has been sitting. It is wired so the pump and the pressure tank are on seperate cirrcuits from the irrigation controller, therefor any leaks that may persist will drain the pressure tank to its lowest setting and the pump kicks in and fills it back up, but this is not the case
