We have an Electrolux 6500 SR Model C102G. We took it to a local repair shop and he told us it needed a new motor and probably a suction regulator but that his source doesn't stock those parts. I've found the motor on the internet, but have not seen anything called a suction regulator. It's the round dial on top of the vacuum which rotates to control the suction. I need to know if you think this wears out, where to get a new one and what is it's part number. Thanks.
