Report "We have an X reg Smart Car, and when we drive along the engine suddenly cuts out and we come to a halt. Then it won't start up again for 15 - 20 minutes. Today we managed 5 miles and then the engine just stopped with the battery light coming on. We had it fully serviced a few days ago hoping it might clear something but it didn't make any difference, in fact it seems worse. Does anyone have any ideas? The RAC tested it a month ago on their computer and it did not show any electrical fault. We would be greatful for any ideas!! Best regards Joy"
