We have more than one computor in the house and we have reset arris box in order to connect........... in the process the computor that is connected will get booted off the internet...isnt it possible to have several computors connected at the same time we are also using an 802.11b wireless access point

All the computers in the house should connect to the netgear wireless.
The netgear should in turn connect to the arris modem.
And yes, all the computers should be able to access the internet at the same time when setup this way. You shouldn't have to reset the modem at all.
