We have programmed the speed dial according to the manual and now the SPKR button is lighted on station 10 and will not turn off. There is nothing in the manual to explain this. Please help. Thank you

Hi,from your problem it seems this problem occurs only on unit 10,if it is,it means the modular circuit which unit 10 rests on is corrupt ,The problem can be solved by reprogramming the entire ROM(random operating memory) of the phone or a hard reset.

Could there be any other reason the light remains on? All we did was program the speed dial numbers system wide. The light was not on before this.

Have you tried checking if the handset for that particular phone is properly placed.
No, I mean if the handset properly put down, not hanging in the air or lying on the table.
As I said, I have been using the handset for two days and trust me, I would know if the handset were not sitting properly.
I have checked everything else and feel it has to be a programming problem.
Are you familiar with this phone system?
