Try cleaning the unit by removing the battery and and spraying canned compressed with a straw nozzle (Like you clean your computer with) through out the unit. It may be clogged with dust and lint. After cleaning allow it to air out for about 10 minutes before reinstalling the battery. If it has not solved your problem, contact the manufacturer for a replacement.
