We have two Thrustmaster Ferrari Universal 5-in-1 Challenge Wheel. We are using it to play Mario Karts on our Wii. Everything was fine for a few days until one of the wheels began to automatically change the view to the rear view "on it's own". Instead of looking forward at the road, there is the ability to look behind the vehicle to see who is behind you. However it seems to be converting to the rear view on its own. Soon this also happened on the other steering well. After some research I learned that the functions for each button on the steering wheel could be re-assigned to a new function. This re-assignment could be done so easily that it seems it is too easy and if, while playing you accidentally press the "mapping" button then button A then button B what happens is the function of button A is re-assigned to button B. I'm assuming that is what happened here. My son was playing when this happened. Now, when you turn right the view converts to rear view, However when you turn left it is forward view as it should be. So I assume the rear view function got re-asssigned to the steering wheel when it is turned right. The rear view seems to have been re-assigned to a different control on the other steering wheel but same idea. This unit does come with the ability to erase all button re-mappings. You're supposed to hold down the "mappings" button for 2 seconds and all re-assignments are returned to default. However this does not happen and the buttons continue to mis-function. Please help
