We tried to program an old chamberlain remote to our new craftsman opener through the door console--now the door console does not work--we reprogrammed the keyless entry and car remotes with the main unit and tried the same method with the door console--the remotes and keyless work but not the door console--what should we try

The door control does not require programming. Make sure one of the wires hasn't come loose and also try loosening the top screw on the door control. If it is too tight it can cause a problem.
