Report "Weather. It has always had poor sensitivity and selectivity. I live 2 miles from a large antenna farm. Those stations come in fine on DX, but not perfectly on Local. Some of the stations I prefer to listen to, though, are a bit weaker and located about 3 miles in the opposite direction from the antenna farm. Those stations will not come in at all on Local. On DX, I can hear them, but also 1 or 2 others from the antenna farm. One of these weaker stations barely comes in, even on DX. Granted, TV is moot now, but here is some additional information. The super-duper powerful TV station would not come in on Local. It did on DX, but I had to have the volume up full. The low-power TV station would not come in at all. My older model Walkman (now in pieces) handled these problems far far better"
