Weather King blows fuse in Criterion II furnace
My exterior one year old Weather King fan keeps blowing one of the fuses. Please help. When the air conditioner kicks on it blows a fuse in the furnace near the blower (looks like a 10amp car fuse connected to 2 wires). I replaced the fuse, turned the power back on, and it immediately blew the fuse but didn't kick on. The fan, heat, or cool will not work. What could be causing that little fuse to blow over and over again? It was working fine 2 days ago!

You probably have a shorted wire between the heater and the a/c. There are two wires that conncet the control power to the outdoor a/c from the heater they should be on terminal c & y in the heater. disconect those two wires and try it again if the fuse doesnt blow you have a short in the wire between the a/c & heater
