Weather King: model # 13AJA60A01
HI koobreez:
thank you for the helpful info. I checked all the connections that's in one corner of the fan but did not find any loose connections. However, I did find a large amount of spider webs crossing the red and black terminals. I wondered if that's what caused the short. I cleaned it up and put the panel back.
Now I just need to go get some new fuses. You mentioned the slow-blown timed delayed fuses. how is this different from the one-time fuse?
thanks,
Kenny, Los Angeles, CA

HEY< the compressorstart-up amps is 2-3 times the run amps. Once it gets up to speed, then the small run amps is all thats needed to keep it there! The one time fuses--assoon as it hits the rated amps it blows to protect the system, the slow-blow fuses has a few seconds to heat and blow if the amps stay to high and don't go back down below the rated amps! Thank-you-very-much
