Webroot spy sweeper
- It would not sweep. I reinstalled it and I was able to conduct a sweep. However when I tried to connect with the internet again, my computer froze. I had to uninstall Webroot in order to run my computer. I also have Trend anti-virus. Might there be a connection between these two?

I too have Trend PC Cillin ( anti-virus ) and Webroot Spy sweeper... I schedule sweeps at different times so there is no overlap or conflicts.. I am running windows XP Pro ( i do not like Vista... even thou I may not have any choice at some point) but I have not had any conflicts or lockups between them.. There may be some other underlying issue with your system... For what it's worth...
Hi Tarryrose... I was merely pointing out to you that I have a similar set up to yours and did not have any problem with accessing the internet. My point being is that there should not be any incompatability issues with them on your system and that there may be some other underlying system based problem with your computer ( Memory limitation or other).. Instead of using Spy Sweeper.. try downloadiing Adaware SE for home use from Lavasoft.. it is free and see if that works on your system..
