Says 4 critical shields are OFF and my (?) is "vulnerable". Gives me an "Alert's" prompt but won't let me see what. Then won't start a sweep. Says something about "Options Progrms??" Since doing the update to 5.8.1, my spyware has been crazy and I do not understand the words on my error messages. this has been going on since Aug 31. I have tried since Tues., Sept to speak to someone in teck support to no avail. I have had my phone on speaker waiting for a response for over 9 hours since last Tues. Today I received an error message that they could not locate valid definitons file--go to options panel. I did and downloaded the definitions file and then got the same error messsage. I also am getting a message that I have 4 acute errors. Also they tell me to do a full sweep and then I get a message that it was already done or my computer freezes. I am very aware that I am not a teck person but I have been a able to use my computer for my own needs until this problem that has me very frustrated. Please help sweeper will not sweep updated spyware program doesn't take the update 4 shields are off program options page to update definitions can't be located
