weed trimmer - How do I remove the head?
I have a 1.8amp type 1 st1000 bump grass trimmer. My question is this . . . can i remove the current head to install a universal head/weed thrasher (as seen on tv)? and if so, how do I remove it?

Yes, there should be a lock hole on the base of the bump head, spin around until both holes align and stick a pin through them both and the base will be locked.
Now spin the head off.
The new one will come with adapters if you need them.
