About every month, i spray the pulleys with WD-40 and then spary it into a cloth that I use to wipe the cable covering...my gym is 4 yrs old, sits out on my covered back porch and the cables and pulleys are like new

I just bought a Weider Club C725 home gym not too long ago. I followed the step by step instructions and the cable system is not functioning right. Everything is in the right place like it should be, but when you pull on the cables the carriage gets stuck and won't return back down. Especially when there's light weight or no weight at all. I lubed the tower the carriage sits on,the pulleys,the cables etc. and it's still not function like it should be. It still sticks. Any advice?
