Well I have checked all of the small electrical parts,On-off switch, chord, thermostat, etc.with ohm meter, all good. Now my question is what do I set the ohm meter on for the motor and what should it read if it's good and what should it read if it's defective?

You should use an ohmmeter on the motor - compressor, if that is to be tested, everything else having tested out in good order. Disconnect the motor — that is, the appliance — and use the ohmmeter probes on it. The reading should be about 20 ohms. If there is no reading on the ohmmeter, you need a new motor
It is the same meter reading you used for other components you have to use for the motor to detect if it is faulty or good.
It does not have any specific settings on the ohm meter before it can detect any good or bad effect on the meter. Meter reading is meter reading, if it is working it will give a good reading and if it is faulty, you can detect from the reading as well.
And if there is any further help you need on the air conditioner you can ask.
On-off should read either infinity(off) or a short circuit 0 ohms(on) if good/the thermostat can be bypassed to see if its defective,no real good way to test these with an ohmmeter/the cord should check continuity when the ends that connect to the appliance are removed and touched together and the meter leads are touched across the plug blades that go into the receptacle, you can set it on RX1 or RX10 or RX100 , RX1 for switches and all on-off type components
I have checked all them parts I need to know how to check the Motor itself. What to set the ohm meter on and what it should readI have checked all them parts I need to know how to check the Motor itself. What to set the ohm meter on and what it should read
you will need to get a motor model number and consult the manufacturer or a local motor shop as to the resistances(impedances) of each particular winding for this model motor: i.e. the start and run windings,as I do not have these impedances for you.you should measure some resistance on each of these windings when the motor is out of the circuit, but I do not have those specifications on hand

Hello,
It is good. what seems to be the problem of the air conditioner?
i thought you said the solution i gave was helpful, and the remark i saw was not helpful
