If the 327 was never set up for wireless you need to connect to it with an Ethernet cable and plug that into your Mac and one of the RJ45 ports on the back of the 327. Type http://192.168.1.1 into your browser, this should take you to the Westell Home Page (Your Router). The default for wireless in this router is disable. There are tabs across the top on the page, select Configuration>Wireless>Basic. This opens the Wireless Operation Window. If Wireless is disabled, click arrow to enable. You can also enable and disable encryption in this same window and if you choose to use the basic WEP in the device, the WEP key is on the label on the bottom of the router. If all this is good your laptop should be able to detect the wireless connection, the default is the serial number on the bottom of the router so you will know which connection is yours. REMEMBER TO CLICK SAVE before exiting the window! Hope this helps.
