Westinghouse LCD power light but wont turn on
I have a 27'' Westinghouse LCD that was given to me but I cannot get it to turn on. The red light comes on but the TV will not come on with the power button or the remote....could this be fixable? Cost effective?

Unfortunately, what you're describing is a repair issue. You won't be able to address the problem with troubleshooting. There is a part inside the TV that needs to be replaced. Since you're not under warranty the cost will likely be a minimum of $200 parts and labor. However, be warned that the cost could be considerably higher.
