You found a 2005 with 2500 miles?? Buy it! There should be no, none, zero problems with that bike. It should be perfect. These bikes are built. I have 3 of them. And with 17,000 miles on my 02 S4, it is still in perfect shape, a couple dings here and there, nothing ,major, sat all winter in a cold garage, charged up the battery and it fired right up and took off down the road. No problem. I take that back, the only thing you might find wrong with it is the battery. They have a short life span. Other than that you can't beat it. You will be hooked on a quality bike. One of mine was crushed by a truck while parked, the guy didn't see it, and he didn't hear it being ground into the pavement cause he just kept on backing up. Left my bike in a puddle of gas. the insurance co, totaled it because of the front end and gas tank damage, they gave me $200 more than I paid for it 4 years earlier. And the insurance guy said if it was a Honda or a Harley, I would have gotten half that. They hold their value. One more thing, they have to be maintained, the valve adj is expensive but worth it. It can be done by anybody who is good with a wrench, but you have to do the math. That is one thing that scares people off. My last valve adj was $600. Hope this helps.
