It is the small wires on the altenator. Give each wire a gentle tug. If one stretches, then the wire has broken inside. (the insulation will still be intact). This is common on all makes. You can replace the connector for under twenty dollars. Just make sure you cut the bad off the old wire. Usualy about 4 to 6 inches up from plug. Or just splice the broken wire with a connector.
