You can type in the run box msconfig and see what is loaded thats services and dll's exes and other devices or you can hit CTrl ALT DEL and look at te running process's when the file comes up. it will show idel time total and it will tell you what is running and how much memory each program is using, you can disable some items but some it won't if i does not allow you to disable then it is a critcal function that won't allow you to stop the process.
