What if the fan is running and the air way is clean, lots of hot air blows out and my comp. and it shuts down every 5 or 10 mts. Could it be the cpu? or is there other device known to cause this problem? My system is a Gateway W350A

The most probable cause is your Processor gets Overheated and causes restart to your system. Try having a suitable CPU Fan or go for a compatibility checking issue for your Motherboard and Processor.
