I tried to find a manual on this motor and it proved hard to do without paying for one. A few of the bigger models like the xz 550 they recommended .035" I would try the gap and run the engine up to a high rpm. If the engine starts to cut out a little or not run very smoothly then try increasing the gap to .040" and test again.
