What is this small round hole for???
I just bought an "Inland USB 2.0 Mini 4 Port Hub" today. The model # is MC702639.
It is silver and has the obvious 4 USB plug receptacles on the side. On one end of the rectangle unit, the wire is attached that I am to connect (plug into) my computer..., also obvious.
At the other end of the rectangle unit there is small hole that appears to be for some sort of other plug. Since I didn't get any instructions for this unit and there is no mention of this "whole" My questions is, am I missing something?? What is this socket used for.
Thank you

Although i have not seen your device specifically i looked it up and that unit if I am not mistaken has an option to plug a switching power adapter on it IF and only IF in case you might need it to power on additional devices. Some USB devices need more power than normal hence the adapter but any device that runs on its own power and small USB devices dont need such power then you do not need the external adapter ( Sold separately and not by the same company) Basically you are not missing anything dont worry if the unit works as it should then you are ok.
If you need further assistance just message me.
AC power adapter plug. Not normally needed.
