What is USB port for?
On the top of the blood pressure monitor is a USB symbol and a port. I haven't seen similar USB ports. There is no attachment in my box and no mention of the USB port is made in the manual. But a couple of places online I have seen something about being able to download my readings? I am not sure how to do this.
I can go and buy a connector if needed. Do I need software?
Thanks for your help!!

I wouldn't waste your money on a "datalink" (usb) cable for your monitor, because there really isn't any use for it. From what I've gathered on the web, originally the monitor was to interface with Microsoft's HealthVault software; unfortunately, no driver was ever written for this monitor. Unless someone uses the developer kit to create a driver, interfacing the monitor with a PC will not be possible using HealthVault.
